|The Mission Works will provide a per-order quote from a national furniture shipper at time of purchase for your freight cost.
The freight cost will be paid at time of delivery to the freight company.
Freight cost are an additional cost paid by customer .
The Mission Works ships using the White Glove service method of shipping. This means that the shipper handles this type of product on a regular basis and will ship your furniture blanket wrapped or crated. PLEASE BEWARE OF ANY FURNITURE COMPANY THAT TELLS YOU THAT THERE IS NO ISSUE WITH USING GENERAL FREIGHT CARRIERS AS THE SHIPPER FOR YOUR ORDER. WE HAVE LEARNED THAT SHIPPING -- WHITE GLOVE -- IS THE BEST POSSIBLE WAY OF SHIPPING THIS LEVEL OF HIGH-END FURNITURE TO ITS FINAL LOCATION AND THAT CURBSIDE DELIVERY IS NOT THE RESPONSIBLE WAY OF TRANSPORTING YOUR FURNITURE. THIS LEVEL OF FURNITURE MUST BE BLANKET WRAPPED AND HANDLED BY A COMPANY THAT DOES THIS TYPE OF MOVING ON A REGULAR BASIS. SOME FURNITURE COMPANIES WILL TELL YOU THAT IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW YOUR ORDER IS SHIPPED. THIS IS AN ATTEMPT TO LOWER THERE COST IN AN EFFORT TO BE THE LOWEST STORE IN TOWN. GENERAL FREIGHT SHIPPING DOES NOT WORK AND RESULTS OFTEN IN A FUTURE PROBLEM -- THE SHIPPER WILL BLAME THE COMPANY FOR ANY DAMAGE AND THE COMPANY THAT HAS SOLD YOU THE FURNITURE WILL BLAME THE SHIPPER AND YOU WILL BE LEFT IN THE MIDDLE WAITING FOR YOUR FURNITURE TO BE RESHIPPED AND PRODUCED. THIS CAN MEAN A 6 TO 8 WEEK DELAY.
The shippers we use have trucks that have air-ride suspension and they will not stack other pieces of furniture on top of your furniture. Our shippers inspect and deliver your order into your home or your business and will not deliver (CURB SIDE) or (DROP SHIP) your furniture.
This kind of shipping (WHITE GLOVE) is now three times the cost of general freight carriers. General freight carriers deliver to your front driveway or curb side.
This way of shipping does not meet our customer service guidelines .however,
we will ship (curb side) if you choose to accept this method of shipping.
The Mission Works will provide a delivery date to you when you have selected your items. This delivery date is the time of production and the time of transporting the items. We will try to move your order as fast as possible. We track your purchase from the time you process your order until it arrives at your home. We cannot guarantee an exact day of delivery but we pay close attention to your purchase and email or call you on a consistent basis though out this process.
You will be responsible for being at your home for your delivery. You will be notified at least a day before your delivery arrives. If you are not at home you will be charged a fee of eighty dollars for redelivery which is what The Mission Works is charged. The shipper will give you a three hour window for time of delivery.
Fed Ex - We will ship Fed Ex at our option if the item does not exceed size restrictions and we will ship Fed Ex ground-only .
