If your item is Dropped Shipped which is also called shipped Curb Side please do the following:
Do not sign any bill of lading until you have looked over your items. If it is possible inspect your items while they are still on the truck. Look for any damage to the carton. If you find any damage call The Mission Works at the time of inspection . CALL THIS NUMBER TO REACH THE MISSION WORKS 24 HOURS A DAY --SEVEN DAYS A WEEK 707-235-9017
If you find damage you must note this damage on the bill of lading. Please understand that damage claims are rare but they do happen. AS of 2007 The Mission Works ships White Glove to provide the greatest possible care for your order.
Please be advised that if you sign a bill of lading and you do not note/write down any damage on that bill of lading you are then receiving your order in new undamaged condition.
Every item we ship is insured against freight damage.
If your purchase was shipped using white glove service you are still responsible for inspecting your items.
White glove service means that the item has been inspected at the shippers warehouse and was found to be in new condition unless it was brought as an as-is purchase or as a floor stocked item.
White Glove Service or Blanket Wrapped service provides that the items will be unpacked and if necessary assembled and placed where you want it to be. Please be advised that it is your responsibility to make certain the item will fit though any doorway or hallway and that the shipper will be able to have a clear way to the end location.
